A quick quote
I posted this quote before but I accidentally deleted it. I wanted to post it again because it’s one of my favorite quotes/ideas.
I think the most important thing about making any personal change is having the belief that you do not need to act the way you’ve always acted. That if you choose to, you can change anything you want. I was reading the book The Last Gentleman by Walker Percy and this quote jumped out at me:
This is the locus of pure possibility, he thought, his neck prickling. What a man can be the next minute bears no relation to what he is or what he was the minute before.
So the next time you find yourself thinking, “I’m going to fail at this because I always fail at this,” just remember the idea of “pure possibility.” If you’ve had a long history of failing to lose weight I think the first step to losing the weight is forgetting about that history.
AWESOME!!!
Thanks for sharing!
I like that quote too! I love reading and have read some things that I can apply to life and weight loss too. Guess they would be my motivating quotes…
Thanks for sharing yours!
It’s forgotten, I’ll like to think I now have tunnel vision.
Great quote, by the way. And wish you the best…you can do it.
GREAT QUOTE! That was very inspirational. I hope everyone gets a chance to read your blog today. It could really help people who feel like giving up.
I love it! Thanks for Sharing!
